Aerocircular is a full-service provider that helps owners of large fleets to deal with aircraft that have reached their end-of-life. In the first place, the company helps fleet managers decide which aircraft are phased. Aerocircular then disassembles the reusable parts, and dismantles the non-reusable parts of the selected aircraft.
The reusable parts are processed in accordance with EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) regulations. The parts are then either stored at Aerocircular or shipped to a location of the manager’s or owner’s choice. The company also provides a complete recycling service for all non-reusable parts, which are each upcycled or recycled with maximum value retention. Parts eligible for upcycling are sent by Aerocircular to a specialist external party for processing, so they retain as much value as possible when they return to the materials market. Other parts are processed by external firms according to standard procedures, pending more suitable purposes.
Incidentally, Aerocircular uses ETAP's lighting-as-a-service in its warehouses and offices.
