The Brussels Regional Programme for the Circular Economy (PREC-GPCE), known as Be Circular, is a programme involving multiple stakeholders from 91 organisations. It is designed around 111 measures that respond to the opportunities provided by a circular economy, including combining economic and environmental goals, supporting local production, and optimising land use.
The transversal measures of the GPCE apply to all economic operators, with the aim of developing a favourable regulatory framework, elaborating economic support measures, supporting innovation, setting up sustainable and innovative public procurement, and creating or steering new training courses. The sector-specific measures are directed at the construction, raw materials and waste, logistics, retail and food industries.
Since 2016, 194 circular projects received a total of € 11.5 million in financial support, 207 workshops have been organised for a total of 5,500 participants, 319 organisations have received non-financial support, 3,000 people have received training, etc. Be part of this dynamic Brussels network, and find out more about the opportunities for your organisation at circulareconomy.brussels.
