Brief description of services

ETAP offers LAAS, because it wants to relieve its customers of all concerns, and work together with them in the circular economy. The customer avoids having to invest its own resources in better lighting with lower energy consumption.

Why is the product or service circular?

The service relies on products that are designed for a long lifespan at one or more customers. When the service ends, the products are returned to ETAP. We then take care of the following use, possibly after refurbishing, or recycling.

Which circular strategies are applied?

  • Reduce total amount of materials: ETAP products are designed to have a long lifespan and therefore multiple usage loops. We take care of reuse when the service ends, possibly after refurbishing. LAAS is a rental system.
  • Extend the useful life: ETAP provides 10-year contracts with possible extension and complete maintenance of the lighting installation. Products can be disassembled non-destructively, consume little energy, and are designed for a long lifespan.
  • Maximise the reusability of a product or component: All ETAP products can be disassembled non-destructively. We guarantee a circular destination after the contract expires, and also provide the customer with insight into this.
  • Maximise the reusability or recyclability of material: teel, the main component, is easy to recycle. We’re accelerating the ECO-design efforts to increase the recyclability of the plastics, and make sure they can continue in the loop after the contract expires.

  • ETAP takes care of the entire process, from study to disassembly.
  • The customer receives high-quality lighting with minimal energy consumption.
