Learning how to purchase according to a circular model through inspiring sessions on procurement projects, processes, contract documents, surveys of the market and measuring circular impact is an important basis. The willingness to purchase according to a circular model and the belief that there is a real market for circular products is further reinforced by actual examples from practice.

Organised tours took purchasers and facilitators from inside and outside the GDCA on visits to several companies and projects with special exemplary circular cases. These cases included the internationally renowned circular city office VENLO, the production of toilet paper and Satino Black cradle-to-cradle sanitary solutions, UNILIN building materials, new circular lighting models by Signify, and circular high-tech in the Flemish textile sector at Alsico and Concordia.
