Flemish Public employement service launches tender

In March 2020 VDAB (public employment service of Flanders) launched a tender for a framework contract for sustainable workwear. In the award criteria, 40 of 150 ppints are for environmental criteria: Score on the Higg Material Sustainability Index, sustainable transport and other measures that reduce negative environmental impact. A further 15 points are awared to CSR. Finally an demand was to meet the IAO-convention and agree with a examination of the supply chain.Both the tender and technical specifications (in Dutch) are available in the publications > textile section.
