Research into circular signage supports

ReDesign was looking for more sustainable, circular alternatives to common signage supports. This concerns signs as well as promotional and communication material, etc., where the specific requirements for the various applications were taken into account.

The alternative supports have already been used for signage during the Ghent festivities (in collaboration with the City of Ghent) and for internal signs at Ghent University. The concrete result of this study is a technical description of the materials, which can be included in tender documents. In order to really achieve a circular impact, the end-of-life solutions for these materials also have to be looked at closely.
