Second life for the interiors of delivery vans

Proximus installs the interiors of end-of-life vehicles in a new fleet

Proximus relies on small vans for providing services to its customers. These are used extensively for installations, repairs, and maintenance. Since they’re frequently used, these vehicles have to be replaced regularly. When the vehicles were sold off in the past, the specific interior fittings were also disposed of. In the context of the Green Deal Circular Procurement, Proximus decided to look at whether these fittings could be installed in newly purchased vehicles.

Now, no less than 95% of the new vehicles, representing some 1,450 units, have been fitted with recycled fittings. Both the financial and circular impact are immediately noticeable.
