The City of Leuven builds according to a circular model

Interreg NSR ProCirc - pilot committed to circular construction

In late 2020, a new creative learning space will open in Leuven. It will be temporarily housed on two iconic, vacant industrial building sites: the Silos and the Van Orshoven mills. Within ProCirc, the City of Leuven wants to commit to a circular model in the design of its buildings, with a view to temporary use. It will include experiments with business models for temporary use, urban mining, and calculating residual value.
Circular construction is one of the City of Leuven’s five strategic priorities.
