Brief description of services
We’re fans of clarity at HAVEP, which is why all our sustainable products receive the 'Green Choice' label. And as you may have noticed, more and more products with this label are available in our collections, something we’re very proud of.
Why is the product or service circular?
Our aim is to help our business partners become more sustainable by offering clothing recycling solutions. HAVEP has also drawn up a sustainability roadmap, in which we guarantee that we will include more and more sustainable materials in our new collections. For example, all our workwear and protective wear will be available in a circular model by 2025.
Which circular strategies are applied?
- Reduce amount of virgin inputs: In our new collections, we always try to replace the materials with sustainable variants wherever possible.
- Extend the useful life: HAVEP operates a repair service.
- Maximise the reusability or recyclability of materials: We look at how products can best be recycled right from the outset when designing new collections. We also provide contact with partners who recycle or reuse clothing.
What are the benefits for purchasers?
HAVEP offers recycling solutions for old clothing. For example, we work together to reduce CO2 emissions, and consume less water, chemicals and energy. By using alternative types of fibre, we use less surface area and help in the transition to a circular world.
