Why is the product or service circular?
The customer orders the products online and pays an additional fee for the jar. Once the food has been consumed, the jars are collected. The deposit will be returned with the next order. Lili Bulk works together with local producers and the sheltered workshop "nos pilifs".
Which circular strategies are applied?
- Reduce total amount of materials: We work with reusable, glass deposit jars as packaging for our products. We also limit packaging at our suppliers, because we choose 25 kg bags made of kraft paper or linen.
- Maximise the reusability of a product or component: Lili Bulk takes care of taking back the jars and deducts the deposit with the next order. The sheltered workshop "nos pilifs" ensures that customers receive properly filled jars again.
