Why is the product or service circular?

NNOF helps organisations to deal more sustainably with their existing raw materials: guidance of the change process, interior design, inventory of current furniture, and transformation of existing furniture into contemporary office furnishings.

Which circular strategies are applied?

  • Reduce total amount of materials: Our aim is to reuse as much material as possible. Sometimes, all that’s needed is a new top layer or upholstery.
  • Reduce amount of virgin inputs: Metal frames are made smaller, so that the furniture is once again suitable for a contemporary interior. This avoids the necessity to manufacture new frames.
  • Extend the useful life: Maintenance of certain products can significantly extend their lifespans. For example, the chair pump of an office chair can be replaced.
  • Maximise the reusability of a product or component: Our designers continually work on the innovative reuse of existing office furniture.
