Why is the product or service circular?

Our R&D department develops modular products so they can grow with the customer, limit the use of raw materials, extend the lifespan, and facilitate reuse. Our circular services, such as maintenance and ergonomic and other updates, keep the furniture in top condition.

Which circular strategies are applied?

• Reduce total amount of materials: Pami strives to maximise functionality and minimise the use of raw materials. Our product development starts with close cooperation between R&D and the design department, which means we can guarantee the most suitable raw materials are used as effectively as possible.
• Reduce amount of virgin inputs: An impressive 25.6% of our raw materials (including steel, aluminium, wood, plastic and cardboard) are derived from recycled material.
• Extend the useful life: Our products are based on sound basic materials, and we’ve developed modular product lines. We also periodically maintain and clean the furniture, and implement technical updates and ergonomic improvements.
• Maximise the reusability of a product or component: Our product lines are modular and easy to assemble, disassemble and maintain. It means they can accompany the growth of a company, This limits the consumption of materials and extends the lifespan.
• Maximise the reusability or recyclability of materials: Reuse was taken into account in the design of our products. Steel and plastics are up to 100% recyclable. Wood is recycled into raw material, or used as fuel. Rinsing water is refreshed and reused.
