4 lessons learned from the Green Deal Circular Procurement

  1. Responsibility after end-of-use.
    For example: If vehicles that no longer meet the LEZ standards are sold on the second-hand market, the negative impact of emissions will continue. It’s better to focus on recycling material here, as vehicles contain lots of valuable materials, along with transparency about what happens to vehicles or parts (such as tyres) after the lease period.
  2. Base decisions on the local context
  3. Arrange courses for drivers and users to extend the lifespan and minimise consumption
  4. Study the options for sharing or leasing vehicles that are rarely used. Good agreements with the insurer are important here.
